Do you have a toddler area?
Yes, we have a designated area for our guests ages 3 and under.
I don't want to book a party, but I want to bring in a group of kids to play. Is this allowed?
Yes. Kids World is an Indoor Playground and Arcade open to the public.
Does Kids World allow outside food?
No, food is available for purchase from our restaurant and during party booking under "Add ons"
Do I have to fill out a waiver?
Yes, a parent or guardian must complete a release & waiver prior to entering the play area. This is required to participate at Kids World. There will be no exceptions.
Do adults/kids need socks even if they aren't going to be on the play equipment?
Yes, all adults and kids are required to wear socks to enter the play area.
What are your Restaurant hours?
Nom Nom Restaurant is open from 11am-7pm daily.
Is there an age limit on having a party at Kids World?
Kids World does not have an age limit as far as buying a party package. All ages are welcome.
What is the maximum number of kids allowed at the party?
Our Private party rooms can comfortably accommodate up to 75 people. We have space for over 700 people in our facility so if your party is larger, contact us for options including private parties and multiple party spaces.
At what age do you consider children as guests?
We start counting children as guests at 13 months.
What is the maximum number of adults allowed at the party?
The maximum recommended people at a party is determined by the party space you reserve. We recommend for large parties to contact us so that we can ensure your party has enough space to comfortably celebrate.
What happens if my guest count changes?
Minor changes to guest count typically aren't an issue. If you are concerned that you have many more people attending a party than originally planned, contact us ASAP so that we can help. Additionally, we charge for the number of children booked. If not all the children attend the party, we will charge minimum of 10 children (For example, if you reserved for 10 and only 9 show up you would be charged for 10).
How do I change the time and/or date of the party?
Please call/text Kids World at 805-870-8406 to make the appropriate changes or e-mail us at events@kidsworldla.com. Date and time changes are subject to availability.
Can we change our date or cancel our party once we put down our deposit and get credit towards a future party or visits?
We require a minimum 30 day advance notice in changing dates. We do not offer refunds if you cancel the party. Please note that Kids World reserves the right to cancel your party if management deems it necessary.
What is the duration of the party?
All of our Birthday Party packages are based on two hours.
Can we extend our party time to 3 hours?
Yes, the cost of an extra hour is $200. Please contact your Host Coordinator at events@kidsworldla.com or 805-870-8406 as soon as possible to check if your party can be extended. We cannot guarantee extra time availability if the request is not made in advance.
What if I want to stay longer than two hours without purchase of additional private room or table?
Past two hours, you and your guests may stay in the facility and use all of the attractions, however, you must vacate the party tables/room.
What is in the goodie bags?
Kids World goodie bags include a variety of toys and treats that kids of all ages will love.
What will the table setup include?
Along with all the items listed in your package, we will provide table cloth, pizza plates, dessert plates, forks, spoons and napkins. They are "Happy Birthday" themed
What items can I bring to a party?
Balloons, decorations and party favors. Please note that all the balloons need to be weighted down as our ceilings are so high we cannot get them down if they get loose.
Do you offer balloons?
No, we do not offer balloons but we can recommend a vendor.
What items am I NOT allowed to bring to a party?
Piñatas, outside entertainment without prior arrangement, silly string, alcohol, confetti, glass containers.
What time should I arrive for my party?
We suggest you arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to your party time. If at this time your room is available you will be allowed to enter your party room early.
When will I be charged for the balance of my child's party?
Payment is due in full at the conclusion of your event. Any last minute add-ons will be charged the day of your event. We accept cash, major credit cards and checks.
Is gratuity included in the package price?
No. Our staff greatly appreciates any and all tips.
What is the typical gratuity the hosts receive?
Our hosts go above and beyond to provide the best experience for our guests and birthday child. Most often they receive 15 – 20% of the package price, but that amount is completely at your discretion.
Can we come by and take a tour of the facility and do we need to make an appointment?
You may come by and take a tour of the facility Monday through Friday and no appointment is necessary.
