FAQ
1. I learn better from hands-on:

FACT: We hear this a lot. When people say it, most haven’t actually taken a hands-on course, so we ask how they can be 100% sure it’s best for them. Even those who have done hands-on training usually admit they didn’t retain everything. We’ve discovered, what many people really mean is they watched YouTube videos and didn’t learn much. We agree. YouTube videos are NOT the same as our structured e-Learning Gateway Courses – by any standards.

2. How is this different from just watching YouTube

FACT: In most cases, YouTube creators aren’t experienced instructors and haven’t run a long-established school training real students – like we have. Free videos are free for a reason. Our e-Learning Gateway Courses are a paid, structured, step-by-step program modeled after our hands-on training that’s been successful since 1997!

3. What’s the biggest unknown surprise about hands-on training

FACT: The real truth is, there are only two ways to create patterns: hand-cut or plotter-cut. Hand cutting is the most challenging and frustrating part, so many schools push you toward buying a plotter and software you don’t need. Our e-Learning Gateway Courses get very detailed on hand-cutting techniques to reduce that frustration. To see how BEFORE you purchase, we invite you to sign-up (with no obligation) for the FREE Plotter & Software Overview lesson to get more information, found in the Automotive Window Tinting e-Learning Gateway Course, after you click the Big Green Button.

4. I need the instructor to see me doing an installation

FACT: You still can. Our e-Learning Gateway Certificate Courses have options that can include live video support to troubleshoot issues if they come up. In other words, if you get stuck after completing the course, we can set up a live video meeting and usually get you back on track within minutes; just as we have done for years with our hands-on graduates. It’s that simple!

5. I need a hands-on school to give me plenty of practice time

FACT: Most people are surprised that, in almost any hands-on course, there is usually NOT enough practice time for long-term results. Real progress typically happens when you practice on your own time in your own environment. Students who complete our e-Learning Gateway Courses often find their stride after only a few installations. Yep, that fast!

6. I have distractions at home, and feel I’d learn better traveling to a training facility

FACT: Everyone knows, that travel often brings stress, unpredictable issues, and those uncontrollable costs. A practical alternative to learning at home, without distractions, is getting a local hotel room, or using a quiet library, to focus privately while learning on your own time – Basically, do what you have to do. Just know, the real value comes from the training itself, not just because you went to a facility. This is undoubtably the BEST part about our e-Learning Gateway Courses – Zero Travel.

7. I want the ability to personally ask the instructor questions

FACT: You still can. Our e-Learning Gateway Courses can include live video support and VIP email access. And most all questions asked by our hands-on students during class, over the years, are covered in the e-Learning Gateway Courses – just the same, and more. Trust in the fact we want this unique “one-of-a-kind” training choice to be just as successful as you do!

8. How can I tell my customers I didn’t learn this trade in a hands-on school

FACT: First, we say, why volunteer that information? Plus, you can still get an e-Learning Gateway Course “Certificate of Completion” from us, to display and build customer confidence. That said, we’ve found most customers don’t really care how you were trained, only that the job is done correctly. Bottom line is: Learning at home, on your own time, can still get you to the same goals – just faster.

9. Are shorter hands-on courses better if I don’t have a lot of time or money

FACT: Short courses may appear to be a bargain; however, they usually only teach the basics and are not enough to prepare you for the real-world. Many schools also up-sell products you don’t need – not with us. Our e-Learning Gateway Courses can be a better financial option, by having all the same “core” training elements of our FULL COURSE, and created directly from our hands-on school’s successful years of extensive experience.

10. It’s better to learn in an environment with others

FACT: That may sound good on the surface. However, everyone learns at a different pace, and other students can become a distraction, including slower ones that can pull time away from ANY hands-on curriculum. Plus, social interaction can ultimately derail retention. With our e-Learning Gateway Courses, you can avoid these types of interruptions; in turn, staying focused on the training itself.

11. I want to learn on the school’s training vehicle

FACT: In reality, this concept doesn’t really matter. Training is about learning the “process” so you can apply our techniques and secrets to any vehicle. Meaning, even if you trained on the most difficult vehicle today, you will still encounter the next “most difficult” vehicle tomorrow – which you’ve never seen yet. So, mastering the “process” is the key to tackling ANY vehicle. And the best practice for that, can be done on your own car, a friend’s car, a family member’s car, or even rent a car for a day or two – In other words, do whatever it takes. But NOW, think of the incredible advantage you’ll have with UNLIMITED 24/7 access to our e-Learning Gateway Course and the instructor by your side!

12. I need a school, because I don’t want to waste my own film practicing

FACT: It’s true that “practice makes perfect”, and it’s best to install film many times (and different film types) before actually committing to your first paid installation. That said, with our e-Learning Gateway Courses, we provide information on how you can actually get FREE FILM and FREE TOOLS from the manufacturer of your choice. Yes, that’s correct! This is a common offer from them, and again, with the e-Learning Gateway Courses, we teach you the way to approach this and give you The Magic Words!
