Greens is located at the end of Building A inside of Fort Mason Center. It is the first building on the left when you enter the parking lot. You may park anywhere within the Fort Mason Center parking lot and pay for parking. Please check the Fort Mason Center calendar, as some events will impact parking.

The parking lot located inside the Fort Mason Center (past the Fort Mason Center signs) offers paid hourly parking. The lot may be full during Fort Mason Center events, so please check the Fort Mason Center Calendar for upcoming events that may impact parking. Please note: parking fees are subject to change based on events in the Fort Mason Center. There is also free parking in the Yacht Harbor lot outside the Fort Mason Center grounds along the water. Parking here is limited and signs restrict certain areas – be sure to read all posted signs!

Most of our menu is able to be made vegan and/or gluten free. We have a helpful key on our menus for your convenience. v | vegan, vp | vegan possible, gf | gluten free, gfp | gluten free possible Our vegetarian options may include eggs, dairy, and honey. Vegan options omit all animal products.

For dietary restrictions beyond vegan and gluten free diets, please email us at info@greensrestaurant.com . While we are adept at handling allergies, it is always best to give us advanced notice so the kitchen can prepare.

At Greens, we prioritize farming practices first and foremost when planning our menus. Most everything comes from local farms, and we buy organic wherever possible. Because some of our farmers are small, not everyone is able to be certified organic, but are practicing organic or better, such as biodynamic or regenerative. This philosophy also extends to our beverage menus, including wine list, spirits & cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.

Well-behaved dogs are allowed in our outdoor dining pavilion. Dogs must remain on-leash and underneath the table at all times. Excessive barking and misbehavior are not allowed for the safety and comfort of our other guests.

Our window tables are non-reservable due to the volume of requests we receive for them. Instead, we seat them first-come, first-serve based on arrival time, NOT on how long ago you made your reservation. Your best bet is to arrive either right at opening or towards the end of service hours. Otherwise, you’ll just have to get lucky! However, no matter where you’re seated in the dining room, there is a beautiful view for everyone thanks to our floor to ceiling windows all along the western-facing wall.

We are able to accommodate groups of up to 12 guests in the main dining room without requiring a private event booking. For parties of 6+ guests, a 20% gratuity will be added to your check. Greens was founded by the San Francisco Zen Center in 1979 as part of a zen-work program. While the restaurant has evolved over the years, it maintains a close relationship with the Zen Center and its Buddhist teachings.

Greens has a 15 minute grace period for all reservations. After that, you will forfeit your table. Please make sure you check for traffic and the Fort Mason Center events calendar for events that may impact parking. Our pastry team would be delighted to make you a cake for your special occasion. For custom cake requests, please email us at info@greensrestaurant.com For all outside desserts, our cake cutting fee is $5 per slice.

Yes, you may bring your own wine for regular dining. Our corkage fee is $35 per 750mL bottle. Limit 2 per table. For special events, restrictions do apply. Please discuss you options with our events team.
