How long do I have to pick up my order?
All pickup orders are ready as soon as they are submitted and must be collected by close of business the following day. You may pick up your order from your chosen location anytime during regular business hours. Please bring valid ID and have your order number on hand. We do not hold orders beyond the stated pickup window. Current pickup hours at all locations can be found under the “Visit” section of our website. We will do our best to fulfill orders picked up outside of the pickup window, but we cannot guarantee availability. In the event of a holiday or weather-related closure, you will have an extra day for pickup. Please contact us at support@greatnotion.com for questions about specific orders.
I didn’t pick up my order. What happens now?
Please contact support@greatnotion.com within 30 days of the original order date and include your order number to request a refund. Your order will then be canceled and refunded to the original form of payment.
Do you allow proxies?
If you would like to have another person pick up your order or receive a local delivery, you can enter their name and phone number in the “Add a note to your order” section in your cart before checkout. Please note that valid ID will be required at pickup for verification. If you need to add a proxy name to an order that's already been placed, please email support@greatnotion.com with the order number and proxy information.
When and how will my order ship?
All beer orders are shipped with UPS Ground. Merch ships with USPS. You will receive an email once your order ships with tracking information. Most orders will arrive within a few days to a week from the time the order was placed, but delivery within a certain timeframe is not guaranteed. There is no shipping on Saturday, Sunday, or certain holidays. Please note that beers are not refrigerated during the shipping process, and we do not issue refunds for warm beer.
Do I need to be home to receive my order?
Please note that by law, beer orders must be received and signed for by someone 21+ with valid ID at the time of delivery. Please make sure you will be available, or use your tracking link to arrange for a scheduled delivery or pickup. Merchandise orders that do not contain beer will not require a signature. We highly recommend creating a UPS MyChoice account to track your package and sign up for periodic updates during the shipping process. UPS MyChoice provides additional delivery options if you won't be home during the delivery window, such as requesting it be held at a UPS Access Point for pickup (additional charges may apply). UPS will make three attempts to deliver your package before it is returned to us. If you have missed your three delivery attempts, please contact support@greatnotion.com for next steps.
My order arrived damaged / I’m missing something
In the event that your order is damaged or is incorrect, please contact support@greatnotion.com as soon as possible. Be sure to include your order number and description of the issue in your email and we’ll be happy to help!
I ordered the wrong beer
You are responsible for reviewing your order details before placing your order, but if you do find an error, please reach out to support@greatnotion.com as soon as possible. Orders are processed and shipped quickly, so we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate modifications, but we will do our best!
I don't like my beer
We do not accept beer returns. Our beer is subject to a stringent quality control process, and we are confident that the beer we are sending out is some of the best out there. However, if you feel that there is a quality issue, we want to know about it! You can reach out to us at support@greatnotion.com with details and photos (if applicable), and we will make a determination on a case by case basis.
I received the wrong merch item or size
Please contact us at support@greatnotion.com with your order number and details of the error within one week of receipt. We will send you a prepaid packing label so that you can return the incorrect item. Returned items must be unused and unwashed, with original packaging and tags attached. We will not issue a refund if the product is broken or damaged upon return due to improper packaging. Once we receive the returned item, we will issue you a refund minus return shipping costs. We do not offer exchanges at the moment, but you may place a new order for the correct item.
I missed my shipment. Now what?
Please contact support@greatnotion.com within 30 days of the original order date, and include your order number in your email. Your order will then be cancelled and refunded to the original form of payment minus a $25 restocking fee and the shipping/delivery fee if applicable. Please contact us within 30 days of the original order to receive your refund. Please note that by law, we are not allowed to leave your beer at your door. You must be present to receive the order and have ID on hand. Please make sure you will be available to do so before placing your order. Doordash Local Delivery
We have partnered with Doordash directly in the Great Notion App to bring beer right to your doorstep! Beer orders can be delivered either same-day or next-day within a two-hour delivery window of your choosing, anywhere in a ten-mile radius* of any of our locations in Portland, Seattle, and Sacramento. You will be able to track your delivery status right in our app for even greater convenience, and best of all – there is no minimum purchase amount! The delivery fee charged by DoorDash is dependent on your location and will be displayed in the checkout screen before you complete your purchase. Your Dasher will send text updates when your order is in the way. Make sure you have your ID ready when your Dasher gets to your door – the person named on the order must be 21+ and available to accept delivery on arrival. If you need to cancel or reschedule your delivery, you can do so up to two hours before your scheduled delivery window. Are your taprooms kid/dog friendly?
Guests of all ages are welcome at NW28th, Alberta, Beaverton, Division, Ballard and Berkeley. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcomed (and encouraged!) in the outside areas of NW28th, Beaverton, and Alberta, Georgetown, Ballard and Berkeley.
