FAQ

Is Sploot owned by private equity?
Sploot is proudly founder-led and independently operated. This partnership helps us invest in our people, our medicine, and our clinics while keeping ownership and decision-making with our founders. It also allows us to redesign vet care around the needs of pet parents and pets - making every part of the experience more convenient, connected, and stress-free.
Do you offer discounts for military, first responders, & teachers?
Yes! We're proud to support our community by offering special discounts to our local heroes. Military members, first responders, and teachers receive discounts on all our veterinary services and SplootPack membership. Ask about taking advantage of these exclusive discounts at your next visit, or call us for more information!
What is the Non-Refundable Appointment Deposit Policy?
Our deposit policy is designed to help us provide timely care to all our patients and ensure that appointment slots are reserved for clients who need them most. A deposit is required for new client appointments and same-day appointments (Denver: $95, Chicago: $109). If you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment, the deposit will be credited toward a future appointment. If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before your appointment or do not show up, the deposit will be forfeited.
What are the parking options at Sploot Vets?
All Sploot locations offer on-site parking options. Denver clinics provide free retail parking, garage parking, parking lots, and valet parking depending on location. Chicago clinics offer free validated parking and free parking lots. Colorado Springs clinics have free parking lots available.
When is Sploot Vets Open?

Sploot's drop-off appointments are convenient for wellness exams, sick visits, and urgent care cases. To arrange a drop-off appointment or urgent drop-off, call us at (720) 740-8129. Our team will coordinate the time and arrangements. During your pet's stay, they will be set up comfortably under medical supervision, and we will reach out via phone with updates.
Does Sploot need my pet's past records before our appointment?
Yes, we need the most up-to-date vaccine records and any previous records pertaining to your pet's health concerns prior to your appointment. Ask your pet's previous veterinary clinic to email the full medical records to records@splootvets.com at least 48 hours before your appointment.
Why does my pet need a pre-operative consultation for surgery & dental procedures?
A pre-operative consultation allows us to set expectations, ensure your pet is healthy enough for anesthesia, discuss the specific procedure, create an individual surgical plan, and collect blood samples to check organ function. This ensures your pet's safety and allows us to address any concerns before the procedure.
How do I cancel or reschedule a same-day appointment?
You can cancel or reschedule using the link in your appointment confirmation email, through the Sploot Vets app, or by calling/texting (720) 740-8129.
