Jersey Mike's has a rich history of entrepreneurship and tasty sub sandwiches. Started at the Jersey Shore in 1956, Jersey Mike's serves authentic East Coast-style subs - the same recipe it started with over 50 years ago. Passionate Jersey Mike's fans crave their subs made Mike's Way™; with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and a signature olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and spices. We use only private labeled meats and cheeses that are sliced fresh for each sub sandwich and piled high in-store baked bread. Everything is quickly made to order for each customer, just the way the first subs were made at the original Jersey Mike's. As our brand has evolved, so has the menu. The current menu has all our bestselling subs. We no longer have our previous menu available that list the missing numbers.

As a franchise company, our locations are individually owned and operated. All payroll and tax-related issues are handled at the store level. While Jersey Mike's is widely known for its culture of giving, we do not have a scholarship program through our headquarters. If you work at a Jersey Mike's location, you may want to inquire with the individual owner if they have any programs at the store level.

Part of our updated design removes the TVs in favor of background music and a calming atmosphere.

Toasting subs is not a part of Jersey Mike's recipe and Team Members are not trained to do so. Our stores are individually owned and operated, and it would be at the store owner's discretion to accommodate by putting bread on the grill.

An interesting bit of information, the #43 is our founder's old football jersey number and the #56 represents the year our first store opened.
