T1 Braces were designed by our founder, Dr. James TenBrook , while studying at Harvard University. Our patented T1 Braces were developed based on significant bone physiology and tooth movement principles.

Our T1 Braces technology was patented in 2008. Over 25,000 patients have been treated with T1 Braces since then. T1 Braces have been sold all over the world, including in Mexico, Poland, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Brazil, India, and Australia.

Dr. TenBrook developed the TenBrook T1 Self-ligating System to improve the patient experience. The T1 bracket is designed to reduce friction and optimize archwire performance. Using T1, we can now move teeth with about 1/4 of the force of traditional braces, which research shows is healthier for tooth movement.
