What is time is the resort's check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you arrive early and a room is available, our front desk team will be happy to check you in. If your room is not yet ready, they can pre-register you, hold your luggage, and invite you to enjoy the resort until your room becomes available.
What watersports are available on property?
You can enjoy kayaks and paddleboards during your stay. All non-motorized watersports are included in our resort fee. Jetski rentals and guided tours can be reserved through Spray Watersports .
What is your deposit and authorization policy?
To reserve your accommodations, Amara Cay Resort requires a deposit of one-night room, tax, and the daily resort fee at the time of booking, with the exception of advance purchase reservations. Upon arrival, your credit card will be authorized for the remaining of your room reservation, tax, and resort fee, and authorized $100 per night for incidentals. Any unused funds will be released at the time of checkout. It may take 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect on your bank account.
Can I fly a drone or conduct a photoshoot on resort property?
Drone use and professional or commercial photo and video shoots are not permitted on property unless pre-approved and contracted through our Sales Team .

Do I need to be a guest to rent a slip?
