FAQ

What are your office hours?
Eccella Smiles is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Fridays by appointment only. We're closed on Saturdays, Sundays and major holidays. If you have a dental emergency outside of these hours, please call our office number and follow the prompts for emergency care instructions.
Do you accept my dental insurance?
We accept all Dental PPO Plans, including Delta Dental, MetLife, and many others. Our team will verify your benefits and help you understand your coverage before your appointment. We recommend calling our office with your insurance information so we can confirm your specific plan's acceptance and explain any potential out-of-pocket costs.
How much do dental cleanings and common procedures cost?
The cost of dental cleanings and procedures varies depending on your insurance coverage and specific treatment needs. Routine cleanings typically range from $150-300 without insurance, while procedures like crowns may cost $800-1,500. We provide detailed estimates after your examination and will work with you to understand all costs upfront. Payment plans and financing options are available to help make dental care more affordable.
Do you accept new patients, and what should I expect at my first visit?
Yes, we welcome new patients! Your first visit typically lasts around 1.5- 2 hours and includes a comprehensive dental examination, digital X-rays, oral cancer screening, periodontal charting to evaluate bone levels around each tooth, intraoral photos, a 3-D scan of your mouth and a discussion about your oral health goals. After thorough data collection, we will perform the appropriate cleaning based on our findings. Please bring a valid ID, insurance card, and a list of current medications. We'll also review your medical and dental history to ensure we provide the best possible care tailored to your needs.
Do you handle dental emergencies?
We understand dental emergencies can't wait. If you're experiencing severe pain, trauma, or other urgent dental issues, please call our office immediately. We reserve time in our schedule for emergency appointments and will do our best to see you the same day. For after-hours emergencies, call our main number and follow the emergency prompts for guidance on immediate care.
